Reviews about Friendly Appliance Dealers
- ★ ★ ★ ★ ★October 02, 2019, by Thomas ShulerDon't waste your time reading the lies in the other comments. I have purchased many appliances for myself, my rental cabins ,and recommended Friendly Appliance to all my Friends. They are in my opinion the best appliance dealership in western North Carolina. Their repair service is outstanding, and when they repair the appliance. You don't have to worry about having to call them up next week for another repair because it's fixed without a doubt. They sell new and used appliances if your looking to buy a used appliance come inside and look around they have over 125 used appliances inside the store and more in stock. They will order new appliances. And if you need a part they got it and if they don't they will order it for you. They have moved to 320 US 441 beside the pilot gas station
- ★ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆September 01, 2019, by C LFirst off, I had a very similar bad experience compared to another 1star reviewer. The Bryson location is closed now and this was in Cherokee. They're real friendly that first time you're in the store. But let me get to the problems. They didn't have any new appliances and said in the store that they "don't keep anything new, but could order something" without any clue what the price might be for that service. I said oh well and inspected the used stuff and it looked ~ok. Bought a washer. Was told in the store that there was a 30 day "guarantee". This was not true. Got the unit home, hooked it up, it wobbles, badly. Keeps getting worse. Is shaking the house down. Call them 10 days later after a few magnitude 7.1 loads. They said it's not a guarantee, it's a warranty, and they'll come fix it, they know exactly what's wrong with it. I try and ask if they'll bring me a new machine if I pay for the new machine plus a delivery/installation fee. They say no no, they'll come fix it, it's as good as new, they'll call on Monday to schedule a time to come out that day. I agreed to this solution, for sure. Not a problem as long as it gets fixed. It does not. Monday comes, no call, no show. Seriously!?? My wife calls to see when they're coming and they cop an attitude with her about "It'll just be more trouble if we come out there" and "Your husband can bring it back and go buy a new machine since that's what he wants" and that "if ya'll bring it back then your money is waiting." Even though that previous Friday they had said the opposite. I don't trust anybody that conducts themselves so unprofessionally and aggressively. I don't see how anyone could trust a person that behaves like that, and I'm not hauling this thing back to get yelled at and sent home with that same crap machine and no money, which is probably all that would happen. How can I justify going through the trouble of borrowing a truck, again, and taking my narrow door frame off, again, to take this thing back when I can't trust these people to do what they say they will? It's not worth it. I'll have to give it away to somebody that can haul it off that doesn't mind the vibration. I seriously doubt it will last much longer without repair.
